User Manual and Other Project Related Things

User Manual
To use this program, you should have a computer that supports windows XP - windows 8 on your computer.
You can go here do download JCreator to run this program or you can download NetBeans here to run it instead. You can also use other platforms to run this game such as Eclipse.
All of your computer hardware and software should be in working order if you want to run this game successfully, such as having your monitor, keyboard, and mouse intact.
When you play the game, there are some rooms that may not have more than one door but it is possible to exit through more than the only visible door, so make sure you try to click all the navigation buttons.
Because you cannot take the map out of the map room, it's important to remember where you are and helpful landmarks that are already displayed on the map.

Environmental Message
I could have made the plot line based more on how there's a UFO that is flying down to earth and is polluting   earth even more, and so the character will have to chase down these aliens, into their space ship, and find the room that is emitting all the pollutants into the environment.

Computer Studies Education
Instead of having the character answer a riddle, I could have had the character name the correct parts of the computer.
I could have had a back story of the character's parents as being people in the IT workplace, and have them use a tracking device they developed recently as a project to track down the space craft.

Emerging Areas of Computer Science
Emerging areas of computer science are like genetic engineering and bioinformatics. Instead of having the character die right away from food poisoning, I could have had the character use a gel electrophoresis to determine what bacteria in the food made the character sick. That way, the character might have a chance to survive.

This map looks as messy as any map can get. It's basically my layout for all the rooms and what is inside.  Those extra thick lines you see at (0,4) and (1,5) and (2,3) are locked doors that require the correct key to open.
I ended up not using rooms (1,5) and (2,5).
